The Transkribus platform for the transcription and recognition of historical documents is at the heart of the READ project. But we are also working on lots of other tools and interfaces that will make it simpler for researchers, archivists and members of the public to work with historical material.
You can now get an impression of all the work that is going on under the READ umbrella with our new Interfaces Map.
It shows the interfaces that are already available like our ScriptNet site for computer science competitions, those that are ready for testing like the DocScan mobile app and those that will be coming soon like the Transkribus crowdsourcing interface and our e-learning platform.
We welcome any feedback on our interfaces – just drop us a line!
Thanks to Eva Lang (Passau Diocesan Archives) and Laurent Bolli (DHLAB, École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) for producing this map.
Leverage the power of Transkribus to get the most out of your historical documents.
